Highly Commended: Salti Surprise by Jean Goldstone
When the weather is perfect and there is not a breath of wind I grab my camera and go looking for all sorts of creepy crawlies to take pics of in my garden at home in Jeffreys Bay.
This particular day I was scratching around in the dead foliage of one of the Strelitzia flowers and I came across this little guy! Jumping spiders are my favourite little critters to photograph as each one has a personality of his own.
The spider looks like it wants to say, “ Okay, so now you have found me - hurry up so I can get on with what I want to do. “
