Fueled by the remarkable talents of our local photography community, Orms x Canon is dedicated to fostering a platform that elevates and supports the work of local photographic artists. Additionally, it aims to provide the local community with the chance to engage with art in a free and accessible setting. Building on the success of previous exhibitions, Orms proudly introduces the fourth edition of this event: Orms x Canon: Let Us Move You.
This unique celebration pays tribute to the beauty of movement in all its diverse forms. It stands as a testament to the wide range and depth of life’s rhythmic expressions. Whether capturing the majestic crash of ocean waves, the graceful elegance of ballet dancers, the intricate patterns of birds in flight, or the bustling chaos of urban life, each photograph freezes a captivating and transient moment in time.
The prizes on offer are truly remarkable:
- The first prize includes a Canon EOS R7 Mirrorless Camera, a Canon RF 100-400mm Lens, a R5000 Orms Print Room voucher, and a R3000 Orms Cape Town School of Photography Voucher.
- The second prize comprises a Canon EOS R50 Mirrorless Camera, a Canon RF-S 55-210mm Lens, a R3000 Orms Print Room voucher, and a R3000 Orms Cape Town School of Photography voucher.
As part of the exhibition at Sea Point Promenade, the top 20 images will be prominently displayed along this iconic location, adding a cultural dimension to this beloved area.
