We all know any hotel worth a dime has a pool. Lounging by the pool with a drink in hand is holiday-must. Children also absolutely adore water, so a pool for them to jump in an out of all day usually directly determines the fun level of any family holiday.

It’s time for my second favorite hotel from my travels…Grand Hyatt Beijing!⁣ ⁣ As a part of a family of hotel pool lovers, when I discovered @grandhyatt Beijing boasts an indoor tropical-themed pool with waterfalls and lush landscaping, I knew we had to stay here! Additionally, this hotel is home to amazing restaurants, including Made in China, which is widely regarded as one of the best places in the world to get Peking duck. Attached to a large shopping mall and just blocks from the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square, the location can’t be beat! We found our 2-bedroom suite to be a wonderful retreat from the city and sites…and much more affordable than similar hotels in the U.S.⁣ ⁣ We loved the swimming pool here so much, I’ve included it on our list of the 11 Best Indoor Hotel Pools in the World.
