1. Lose yourself in a book
When last did you visit your local library? Many hold readings of storybooks for kids, free workshops and holiday activities.
2. Volunteer your time

3. Host a junk swap
Host a trash-to-treasure junk swap. Get your friends and family to bring a plate of eats and any unwanted clothes, shoes, bags, jewellery, books and household goods. What is one person’s trash is another’s treasure.
4. Donate blood and save a life

5. View the nightlife in your garden

6. Go wild about wildlife
