A cycling tour in Scotland showcases beautiful scenes and fine whisky. The 160km journey is called ‘Whisky and Burns’ and traverses almost 50km a day over 3 days.
The route starts in Powfoot, which is a coastal area in Scotland. Here travellers will soak up incredible views and gain insight into the history of the area.
In Powfoot travellers will be treated to a tour of the Annandale Distillery among other highlights before moving off to Dumfries. Here cyclists will see the 12 Apostles stone circle and other historical sites before heading to Thornhill.
The final day will take travellers on the Thornhill Loop which will take the group to Morton Castle, Durisdeer church, Drumlanrig Castle and/or Wanlockhead, the highest village in Scotland.

The tour is co-hosted by Annandale Distillery, which was founded in 1830 and Galloway Cycling Holidays. It costs approximately R9,307 per person sharing (£430) and R11,904 for single occupancy (£550).
