This association projects a 15% increase in the traffic of passengers booking flights on African carriers compared to the previous year. The African Airlines Association (AFRAA) has made significant improvements and upgrades, which are expected to bring a steady stream of increased passengers.

New flight routes, more available flights to take, and a rise in seat availability are surely contributors to this passenger traffic rise.  Notably, these changes will enable the airlines to accommodate a projected 98 million passengers by the end of the year.

This organisation has also reported that its implementation will result in a 6% rise in seat capacity on various airlines to accommodate more passengers on each flight.
