For those who have been itching to get to their favourite overseas holiday destination, the latest Air France-KLM flight specials could just be the answer.
The airline is offering good value-for-money deals from South Africa to select European cities for travel until mid-2021. However, the airline warned that travellers must ensure their destination is open to South Africans, and must adhere to the specific entry requirements.
Madrid, Spain is on the list of low-fare promotions.
‘It is the responsibility of the customer to check the local health requirements of the country being travelled to and to ensure that the correct travel and health documentation is in order while travelling,’ the airline states.
These lowered rates mean that travellers from Johannesburg can purchase return tickets to Rome, Barcelona, Madrid and other cities for under R8,000 while Capetonians can hop on board to Munich, Milan and Frankfurt among others for similar fares.
The special prices are on sale until November 9 2020 and valid for low season travel, with different fares applying to high season dates, until June 30 2021.
The following terms and conditions also apply:
- Fares quoted are valid for low season travel (14 October – 9 December 2020 and 25 December 2020 – 19 June 2021).
- Promo fares also apply for high season travel (10-24 December 2020 and 20-30 June 2021), but are slightly higher.
- Minimum stay of 3 days or a Sunday.
- Maximum stay of 3 months.
- Subject to G/X class seat availability depending on the destination.
- Fares quoted are based on the light fare basis, which does not allow for baggage in the hold.
- A change fee may apply depending on the date of reservation/travel and subject to availability a fare difference may also apply.
- NB – If change before departure for your outbound date of travel, the fare will be recalculated according to the fare applicable at time of rebooking of your ticket. You could therefore potentially be paying a higher fare.
- All fares quoted are subject to change due to currency fluctuation at time of making the booking.
- Non-refundable, however a refund voucher can be requested depending on the date of reservation and travel.
- No stopover permitted in Paris.
