After Mauritius lifted its ban on South African travellers earlier this week, Air Mauritius has announced that more flights to South Africa are in the pipeline, Travel News reports.
Vaccinated travellers won’t have to undergo a mandatory quarantine when entering Mauritius, and there is further good news as flights between the two countries will recommence on October 1. There will be bi-weekly flights on Friday and Sunday.
From October 6, flights will increase to three weekly flights, with an additional flight on Wednesdays.
Over the high season, the airline will also operate supplementary flights, departing Johannesburg on December 8, 15, 22 and 29. Supplementary return flights will depart Mauritius on January 5 and 12.
