Airlink will resume its air transfer services in a 12-seater turboprop aircraft to lodges, providing direct connectivity beyond Skukuza and Nelspruit KMIA airport to three well-known safari lodge strips – Arathusa, Londolozi, and Phinda Private Game Reserve on July 1.
Connections from Cape Town and Johannesburg to Nelspruit and Skukuza are also available.
The Arathusa airstrip will allow access to neighboring lodges of Chitwa Chitwa, Cheetah Plains, Elephant Plain, Simbambili, Nkortho, Djumba, Jaci’s Sabi House, and Silvan Safaris.
The Phinda airstrip will allow access into a few lodges in the area, as well as Thanda Private Game Reserve and Rhino Ridge.
Daily Lodge Link flights will depart in the morning from Arathusa at 09h00, travel via Londolozi and Skukuza to Nelspruit, arriving in Nelspruit at 10h25 and do the reverse trip in the afternoon, departing from Nelspruit at 13h45, arriving in Arathusa at 14h35.
Another daily lodge link flight will depart daily from Phinda at 10h00 in the morning and will arrive in Nelspruit at 11h15. The reverse flight will depart from Nelspruit at 13h25, and arrive in Phinda at 14h40.
