British Airways says they will only resume flights to Durban after March next year. The carrier was one of the first international airlines to announce its reinstatement of services to South Africa before borders opened for international travel on October 1.
‘We’re not currently planning to operate direct flights from Durban until 30th March 2021, but you can book via Johannesburg or Cape Town,’ the airline said on Twitter.

British Airways is operating seven flights per week to and from Johannesburg, as well as seven flights per week to and from Cape Town.
The United Kingdom, however, is on South Africa’s list of high risk countries, meaning the airline will not be able to carry British citizens to South Africa.
The list of high risk countries will be reviewed every two weeks.
