Cape Town International Airport has been awarded the Airport Experience Award at the Airport Honours Award Ceremony.
The prestigious event took place at the International Airports Summit in Amsterdam on the 13th of November.
As reported by The South African, the Airport Experience Award is aimed at recognizing airports that provide their employees with a good working environment.

This is due to a good working environment being viewed as the first step towards offering a good passenger experience.

Moreover, the award celebrates airports which provide their staff with growth opportunities, outstanding facilities and recognition programmes.
According to Airports Company South Africa (ACSA), the abovementioned initiatives at Cape Town International Airport have not only created a remarkable work culture. Rather, they have also elevated the passenger experience while showcasing the airport as an embodiment of South African hospitality.
ACSA further expressed pride in the award, detailing that the recognition speaks to the organization’s core belief that a memorable customer experience is driven by happy employees who work passionately.
