SANParks announced that Crocodile Bridge Gate in Kruger National Park is now open, as of 8am on Saturday, February 6.
Earlier it had advised visitors to use an alternate gate to enter and exit the park on Saturday.
Several of the Park’s gates have been closed due to the torrential rainfall in the area recently. On Friday, February 5, Phabeni Bridge was overflowing and the Phabeni Gate shut.
Crocodile Bridge Gate was also closed for day visitors on Tuesday, February 2. SANParks advised that visitors make use of Malelane Gate instead.
Visitors planning trips to the Park are advised to consult SANParks’ social media pages for updates to keep abreast of gate closures and conditions in Kruger National Park.
