El Al unveiled that it will relaunch its direct flight options between Johannesburg and Tel Aviv on 14 February 2022. This is the only direct flight between South Africa and Israel.
The airline will provide weekly flights from Johannesburg to Tel Aviv every Tuesday, with flights from Tel Aviv to Johannesburg every Monday.
According to Travel News, the airline will add a second flight from June 10. The airline is also offering some great fares on the route, with a round-trip flight starting from R7 429.
