This boost in operations follows the announcement of the second daily A380 between Dubai and Johannesburg which was launched at the start of September.
The addition of a fourth daily flight is also in line with the airline’s aim of a global network of over 140 destinations, as well as optimizing schedules to key destinations.
As reported by Times Aerospace, it further enables the airline to better serve the growing demand for travel, as leisure and business travellers continue to connect to and from both destinations.
Ramping up the network in Africa, Emirates will also increase frequency in Ethiopia from the 1st of January 2025 with a daily flight which will connect Dubai and Addis Ababa.
