A false fire alarm triggered evacuation protocols at King Shaka International Airport on 9 April 2022.
Passengers were left confused and flights were delayed. With no information at the time, passengers took to Twitter to express their dismay and appeal for information.
News24 reported that the Airports Company of South Africa advised passengers to check with their airline directly about flights affected.
