Park management urged horse riders not to use the track from Dorcas street and property agents Stewards Property. Some Facebook groups have also asked that members of the community who have extra space for horses that need to be evacuated leave their details in the group for those in need. Anyone who wishes to offer a safe place for affected horses, can send a message in the Facebook group Noordhoek Wetlands Riders.
