Boasting Africa’s largest wave pool, measuring 20 000m2 and featuring hydraulic machinery that produces ocean-like waves at regular intervals, Happy Island Water World is the perfect place to feel oceanside without the travel.
Two massage pools are available where guests can bathe and unwind while being gently massaged in the cool water.
The pools are not heated which makes them perfect for a refreshing dip. But if you’re also a person of tradition and prefer the normal pool for doing laps and just floating around there’s also one on-site.
The park has lunch sites all around which makes it easy for guests to picnic, relax, and have fun with their families.
2. ZambiBush Resort

Cedar Junction is located in Lynnwood Road, Zwavelpoort, eight kilometres east of the Solomon Mahlangu intersection.
The park is an outdoor grassed area of 8.5 hectares with stunning views of the 2 hectare lake and the Bronberg Mountain range.
They offer four sets of swimming pools and 16 water slides (all with weight and age requirements), catering to both young and old.
Three 100m speed slides are on the premises while a baby swimming pool with slides and larger children slides are located in Cedar Junction’s centre.
The lazy river which has three slides is located in the park’s front area which allows parents to relax while keeping a wary eye on their children.
