FlySafair has launched an innovative aircraft tracking feature on its mobile app.
This is in line with the airline’s commitment to prioritizing customer experience. It is also part of efforts to set new standards in customer service while seeking to provide added value to customers.
As reported by IOL, this added feature is aimed at providing customers with enhanced confidence in relation to their travel itinerary and overall journey.
The tracking feature will enable passengers to monitor their plane prior to take off in near real-time. This means that users of the FlySafair app will be able to track the designated aircraft of their journey in the hours leading up to departure.

App users can also receive updates as the aircraft approaches the departure airport, as well as information such as landing times and any schedule adjustments.
Through this feature, FlySafair seeks to equip travellers with essential information to better coordinate their travel arrangements.
Moreover, the tracking feature has a function which enables travellers to share their location with loved ones so that they are updated on the trip progress.
Passengers can access this new feature via FlySafair’s mobile app which is available for download on Android and iOS devices.
