South Africa’s very own Miss Universe 2019, Zozibini Tunzi, will be returning home for a tour after spending her first few months with the title in New York. To welcome her, South Africans are urged to head to OR Tambo International Airport for her arrival on Saturday 8 February, and Gautrain is offering free train rides to all who want to attend.
If you’re wearing a special armband on Saturday, you can ride the #Gautrain for free to @ortambo_int from 6.30am to 8am, and ride back for free between 9am and 11am. For Ts & Cs, visit: https://t.co/KsxEp8rwPU Bring your tiaras, flags and banners! 👑 🇿🇦 #MissUniverse2019 pic.twitter.com/yhlbSC7Van

The free trips to the airport will run between 6.30am and 8am from Park, Pretoria, Midrand and Marlboro stations. Passengers need only find Gautrain personnel at the fare gates and state the passcode: #GautrainTookMeThere to receive an armband that will let them on board free of charge. ‘This armband will entitle you to ride the Gautrain to the airport on 8 February 2020 to give our amazing Zozi a homecoming fit for a queen, and then back again. No armband, no free trip,’ Gautrain said in a statement.
