The Table Bay Hotel, a stone’s throw away from the V&A Waterfront, is all set to be refurbished and relaunched as part of the InterContinental brand. Recognizing the need for a fresh look, the hotel is committed to delivering a superior experience with its updated interior design and decor.

A collaboration of IHG Hotels & Resorts and V&A Waterfront is up for the challenge, as the hotel will be undergoing a massive transformation with a large budget to create a hospitality haven.

David Green, the CEO of V&A Waterfront, is delighted to undertake the challenge. He states, “The Waterfront will be investing in excess of R1 billion to refurbish and convert the existing Table Bay Hotel into an InterContinental. IHG’s global expertise and standards and the all-important IHG One Loyalty program will attract additional international visitors to Cape Town.”

The revamp will include several additions to the hotel, including new suites, a spa, and a pool area. The project is estimated to be completed by the end of 2025.
