It was a matter of life and death for Ndumiso Mona, who was hospitalized after being confronted by a stray leopard that escaped Kruger National Park.
‘I stared death in the eyes, I was ready to punch like a boxer, I told myself one of us had to die,’ Commented Mona when interviewed after the incident.
The leopard had allegedly escaped Kruger National Park before crossing paths with Mona, who was also en route during the night.
Although Mona managed to survive the incident, he did not leave unscathed. He had to be hospitalised after the incident, receiving medical treatment for injuries on his hands, body, and face.
