KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has increased the number of direct flights between Cape Town and Amsterdam following an increase in demand.
This comes shortly after the announcement that KLM will operate daily flights between Cape Town and Amsterdam from 11 July.
It would be adding three additional flights between the two cities from November this year, to celebrate 30 years of flying to Cape Town, the airline said.
‘It is now possible for fully vaccinated travellers from SA to enter the Netherlands with no quarantine restrictions or test requirements,’ said KLM. Additionally, the use of face masks is no longer mandatory aboard an aircraft to the Netherlands and at Dutch airports.
‘However, in line with regulations set by the SA government, face masks on flights to SA and in SA airports remain mandatory.’
