KLM increases Cape Town capacity for peak season

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has announced an expansion to its service to Cape Town.

The airline will be adding two additional weekly flights from the 17th of December 2024 until the end of the European winter schedule on the 30th of March 2025.

As reported by Tourism Update, the increase in flights will complement the daily winter schedule flights which resume on the 27th of October from Amsterdam to Johannesburg and Cape Town.

As of the 17th of December, the newly introduced Boeing 777-300 service will be arriving in Cape Town at 06:10. It will depart at 08:05 on Mondays and Wednesdays.

The enhanced schedule aims to cater for business and leisure travellers alike, offering connections to 220 destinations worldwide.

KLM’s winter schedule also includes expanded services to other African destinations.
