The last time the Two Oceans Aquarium provided an update on the beloved Bob the turtle, Bob had ventured into the deep blue into the Agulhus Bank.

In an update on 21 June, the Aquarium posted that bob has been cruising the surface currents of the southern Atlantic Ocean, having travelled 6 915km in 144 days since her release.
‘The ocean is 5 000m deep where Bob is currently swimming and the water temperature is cool at 16.5°C. It has been three months since Bob’s journey down the Agulhas Current turned into loops in the Atlantic’s surface currents’ they wrote.
Updates on three other turtles were also provided; Litchi, Pan and Turbo, who were released in De Hoop Nature Reserve.
Pan has ventured as far as Namibia, with Turbo also exploring the West Coast.
