One&Only Cape Town has launched its newest restaurant, ROOI.
As a South African grillroom, the establishment is a celebration of land and sea, touched by fire. It looks to redefine the traditional dining experience, allowing local influences to shine through the smallest details both in the decor and menu.
As reported by African Travel & Tourism Association, the name is derived from the Afrikaans word for ‘red’. The colour is often associated with power, vitality, flames and fire.
ROOI joins four other dining establishments at One&Only, namely the reimagined Vista Bar & Lounge, exclusive poolside Mediterranean-inspired Isola, the intimate Wine Studio and iconic Nobu.

ROOI was created to provide a dining space that blends modern luxury and local culture. It seeks to represent the rich tapestry of South African cuisine while creating a space where all feel welcomed.
