A Caspian Airlines plane did an emergency landing on a highway in southwestern Iran on Monday after a ‘technical issue delayed the plane’s landing, which caused the aircraft to run out of landing space on the runway,’ according to CNBC.
All passengers were unharmed and disembarked without any serious injuries, Iranian state media reported.
‘The plane did not catch fire and all passengers safely left the plane,’ said managing Director of Khuzestan Airports Mohammad Reza. Officials said that the matter is being investigated.
