The Proe’toria Festival is gearing up for 2023 and is ready to prove why this festival is one of Pretoria’s most popular music festivals every year.
This festival takes place on Saturday 4 March and Sunday 5 March 2023 at the popular Monte de Dios venue in the east of Pretoria. The line-up includes some of the country’s top artists that will make next year’s event even bigger than before.
Festival-goers can look forward to selected food, delicacy, art, gin, craft beer and wine stalls – all to show how delicious Pretoria can taste.
The artists include, among others, Sunset Sweatshop, Die Heuwels Fantasties, Karlien van Jaarsveld, Martin Bester, Irene-Louise van Wyk, Joe Niemand, Ricus Nel, Demi Lee Moore. Jemma Catherine and The Contract winner, Samantha Leonard.
‘The Proe’toria festival is a major event on the Gauteng festival calendar every year. I’ve always wanted to perform there and look forward to seeing my beloved fans there next year,’ says pop star Irene-Louise van Wyk.
This year she was seen together with fellow pop stars Karlien van Jaarsveld, Demi Lee Moore, Samantha Leonard, and the musician Ricus Nel for the first time at the “Afrikaans is Groot” concerts.
This is now festival-goers’ chance to see these golden names all on one stage at a huge discount: Today (Friday 25 November) the Proe’toria festival offers a Black Friday Early Bird Special that should not be missed. Buy one ticket and get a 50% discount on the next one – a couple then saves more than R200. The offer only applies to the same type of tickets and on 25 November 2022 from 00:15 – 23:55.
Early Bird VIP tickets are also available at a special price from 25 November 22 to 15 January 2023 at only R350 each – festival-goers save R150 per ticket in the period.
The popular festival makes it clear that the earlier you confirm your attendance, the cheaper it works out for you. Normal tickets bought at the gates during the festival will cost R250 each, and festival-goers are advised to buy tickets online for a special fee instead – before they sell out. There are only a limited number of tickets available each year and children under 12 can attend the festival for free.
