Proflight Zambia will double the frequency of its Livingstone–Lusaka route from once to twice daily starting 1 April 2025. The adjustment, which coincides with the start of the safari season, aims to enhance connectivity for travellers arriving in Livingstone from Cape Town and those transiting through Johannesburg.
The updated schedule features two daily flights:
- Early afternoon service: Departs Livingstone at 12.20 pm, arriving in Lusaka at 1.30 pm. The return flight leaves Lusaka at 10.35 am, arriving in Livingstone at 11.45 am.
- Early evening service: Departs Livingstone at 6.20 pm, arriving in Lusaka at 7.30 pm. The return flight leaves Lusaka at 4.35 pm, arriving in Livingstone at 5.45 pm.
These additional flights will provide more options for visitors exploring Victoria Falls, white-water rafting, helicopter tours, and wildlife excursions in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park.
Proflight Zambia is also ramping up its safari season services to Mfuwe, the gateway to South Luangwa National Park. Flights from Lusaka and Livingstone will ensure seamless connections to Zambia’s premier wildlife destination.
Josias Walubita, Proflight Zambia’s director of flight operations, emphasised the airline’s commitment to enhancing travel options: ‘With Victoria Falls at its peak in April and Zambia’s national parks offering world-class safari lodges, now is the perfect time for South African travellers to explore our country.’
