Protea Hotels by Marriott has expanded its African footprint with two new properties in Nigeria and Zambia.
As reported by IOL, the new hotels are Protea by Marriott Delta in Nigeria, and Protea by Marriott Lusaka International Airport in Zambia.

Protea by Marriott Delta, Nigeria
Located in the business district of Ekpan Warri, Protea by Marriot Delta is only 15 minutes away from Osubi Airport.
The property boasts 69 modern guest rooms, as well as three conference rooms. It is ideal for business travellers and corporate events.
When staying at the hotel, guests can enjoy delicious local and international dishes at the Delta Restaurant. The lobby and pool bar stand ready for some relaxation time, and Oriki Spa offers rejuvenation and pampering. The hotel is also home to an outdoor pool and a fitness centre.

Protea by Marriott Lusaka International Airport, Zambia
Protea Hotel by Marriott Lusaka International Airport is designed to cater to both business and leisure travellers.
The property features 72 guest rooms, as well as an all-day restaurant serving local and international cuisine. There is also a bar, an outdoor pool and a fitness centre.
For business travellers, the hotel provides six boardrooms and two meeting rooms, accommodating up to 104 people.
There are also complimentary airport shuttles to ensure easy transfers for guests.
With these two new openings, Protea Hotels by Marriott now operates over 60 properties across nine African countries.
Operational properties in countries such as South Africa, Angola, Zambia, Nigeria and Botswana serve to further solidify the hotel group’s presence on the continent.
