This comes as a result of a growing demand between the two cities. It also serves as a connectivity boost for business and leisure travellers.

According to the new schedule, two additional flights will be introduced to the route. As such, operations will be as follows:

Flight SA22 is expected to depart Johannesburg at 10:00 daily, landing in Harare at 11:35.

Flight SA23’s daily departure in Harare will be 12:25 and is expected to land in Johannesburg at 14:05.

Flight SA24 will operate from Sunday – Thursday, leaving Johannesburg at 20:10 to land in Harare at 21:45.

On weekdays, flight SA25 is also expected to depart Harare at 07:20, arriving in Johannesburg at 09:00.

The airline has maintained a strong presence on the Johannesburg-Harare route in previous years. The increased frequency forms part of SAA’s densification strategy to meet customer expectations demand in the African region, an important area for SAA’s growth strategy.
