Founder, Keith Lindsay, has made it his mission to acquire the necessary permits and safety features to make this amphibious bus tour happen.

Also known as “The Duck,” the vehicle has been cleared to operate on the water and obtained a licence for driving on the road. The only barrier to overcome is completing the road certification process at the traffic department.

The amphibious bus was constructed in the UK and has been transported to the shores of South Africa to offer a unique Cape Town tour experience. With a rich blend of sightseeing and historical facts about the city, this tour promises to be a fascinating journey, allowing you to drive and drift along some of Cape Town’s best features.

The tour starts in Waterfront, driving along the Atlantic Seaboard, and end by entering the water at V&A Marina and Harbour. The official launch date has been set to take off on 31 July 2024 once all permits and approvals are in place.
