Serengeti voted Africa’s leading tourist attraction

Located in Tanzania, the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania has been crowned Africa’s Leading Tourist Attraction for 2024.

This recognition took place at the World Travel Awards, solidifying the Serengeti’s status as a premier destination for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts. It also reaffirms the attraction’s global reputation as one of the most iconic natural wonders that continues to draw visitors from all across the globe.

As reported by Breaking Travel News, the World Travel Awards celebrate excellence across all areas of global tourism. This is inclusive of luxury resorts and national landmarks.

The Serengeti is home to Africa’s iconic ‘Big Five’ as well as other species which all thrive in a spectacular and unique environment.

It is also known for The Great Migration, an annual movement of over a million wildebeest, as well as hundreds of thousands of gazelles and zebras. It is also regarded as a wildlife spectacle which is one of the greatest in the entire world.
