Following in second place on the ranking of African countries is Mauritius with a passport that offers visa-free access to 151 destinations.
South Africa’s passport occupies the third spot with access to a total of 106 destinations.
Additionally, the Index revealed significant disparities when it comes to travel freedom across the continent. Compared to the above-mentioned countries, several other nations (particularly those affected by conflict) ranked among the most restricted passports on the globe.
This serves to highlight the continual correlation between travel and diplomatic relations, as well as economic stability.
