The cold front is predicted to bring strong winds, heavy rains, and potential disruptions.
The cape provinces, particularly the Western Cape, are expected to experience chilly conditions, with wind gusts of 55 to 62 km/h and reaching up to 80 km/h. The City of Cape Town, Cape Winelands, and Overberg are predicted to bear the brunt of the weather.
Northern and Eastern Cape residents are also alerted to cold conditions and gusty winds.
SAWS warns that roads, air, and rail transport may experience disruptions due to the intense weather conditions. Residents in all three provinces are advised to practice caution on Friday and Saturday.
