National carrier South African Airways (SAA) has linked with fellow local and regional carrier CemAir to extend the air route network both operators use to offer customers using both airlines on multi-destination trips an easy check-in experience.
‘Over the past few years, we have watched CemAir grow into a respected aviation brand with a loyal and growing customer base. This interline arrangement enables flight scheduling connection and flexibility for time-sensitive passengers. It also adds more destinations to the route network of both airlines,’ said SAA’s Interim Chief Executive Officer Thomas Kgokolo, according to Aviator Newsroom.
Kgokolo added that the additional routes include Luanda, Durban, Hoedspruit, George, Kimberly, Bloemfontein, Plettenberg Bay, Margate, Sishen and Gqeberha.
CemAir’s Chief Executive Officer Miles van der Molen added: ‘We are excited to partner with South African Airways, one of the oldest airlines on the continent and a brand known by perhaps every South African. Our interline partnership will provide our customers with savings and convenience as passengers can now seamlessly connect between the two growing networks.’
