Emirates and United Airlines have expanded their codeshare alliance, furthering their reach to include eight Mexican destinations.
IOL reports that ‘what makes this development particularly noteworthy is that Mexico becomes the first country outside of the United States to be integrated into this growing network.’
Emirates’ South African customers can now visit eight new destinations, including Cozumel, Puerto Vallarta, Cancun, San Jose Del Cabo, Monterrey, Queretaro, Guadalajara, and Leon/ Guanajuato.
Additionally, Emirates now offers more flexible flight times for passengers flying to Mexico City. Customers can either choose to use Emirates’ daily services from Dubai, which includes a layover in Barcelona, to reach Mexico City, or book codeshare flights separately to Mexico City.
