TAAG Angola Airlines has announced a gradual resumption of international flights from early October. The carrier will resume flights to Johannesburg, Cape Town, Windhoek and Maputo, Travel news reports.
Below is a summary of its schedule, with the recommencement date.
- Johannesburg on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays – 5 October
- Cape Town on Thursdays and Sundays – 14 October
- Maputo on Tuesdays and Saturdays – 16 October
- Windhoek on Mondays and Thursdays – 21 October
TAAG regional manager for Southern Africa Gregory Epps said the Covid epidemic had dealt the airline industry a heavy blow but that, ‘We are thrilled to see the gradual return of TAAG’s flights from key destinations and we look forward to welcoming our passengers back on board.’
He said several more flights would be progressively introduced, including services to Lagos, São Paulo and Lisbon.
