The popular new running obstacle course, Titans Chase Adventure Series, is set in the scenic town of Christiana on the banks of the Vaal River in the North-West province. The running obstacle course is suitable for adults and children and will take place on 12 November 2022.
The first event was held on 17 September 2022 with 52 participants completing the race. It was tough, but what made it worth it was being able to push their limits while enjoying the stunning scenery. Beefmaster sponsored prizes for the winners, and Oewerkuier is to thank for the fabulous food and a great venue.
What makes this race a little different from the rest? Titans is about uplifting people and the nation. ‘You won’t be racing against others; but racing against the Titan in you. The event also wants to get behind a community and boost the area, all for a great adventure and outdoor getaway. Christiana has potential, and what we do in the community, is that we can urge people to give back, clean up and help, all for the future, too,’ says Gressel, the Titans Chase ambassador.
The Titans Chase Adventure Series is a fast-paced course for both the seasoned racer and newbies. Racers also have the chance to socialise with family and friends while reconnecting with nature.
The whole weekend will boast entertainment, tented accommodation, and meals. All this with a stunning view across the Vaal River at the farm venue.
Titans Chase holds onto the idea that there are “no more excuses” for a competitor and that sprint, run, walk or crawl – progress is progress.

- THE BEAST – 10km obstacle race / Individual.
- THE WAR HAMMER – 5km obstacle race/ Individual.
- CLASH OF TRIBES – 5km obstacle race for teams of 2 to 15 people. (min: 10 years of age)
- SPRINT COURSE – 500 meters with 5 obstacles.
