According to a 2022 internations survey, CNBC has published a list of the top 10 easiest countries to immigrate to.
Immigrating to another country can be an incredibly difficult transition. Leaving home, family, friends, and all things familiar is a big event.
The survey accounted for 12 000 expats worldwide. Researchers also considered the Expat Essentials Index, which looks at immigrants’ assessments of their housing (affordability and ease of finding housing), language (ease of learning the language or operating without learning it), digital life (access to online administration services), and administration topics (ease of getting visas, etc).
Due to a challenging digital infrastructure and large language barrier, Japan, China, and Germany were voted the most difficult countries to settle into.
The Top 10 countries on the list include:
- Bahrain
- United Arab Emirates
- Singapore
- Estonia
- Oman
- Indonesia
- Saudi Arabia
- Qatar
- Kenya
- Canada
