Four carriers have been voted for by South Africans as their top airlines.
According to IOL, the airlines which have soared above and beyond the expectations of South African travellers are Singapore Airlines, Emirates, Airlink and Qatar Airways.

Singapore Airlines is known for its excellent standard and has won the Skytrax Best Airline award five times. The airline’s cabin crew also undergoes extensive training which includes etiquette, cultural sensitivity and wine appreciation.
Emirates is an airline renowned for its luxurious cabin offerings, especially for First and Business class passengers. It has also recently introduced new cabin interiors and a Premium Economy class.
Airlink has over 60 aircraft operating thoughout Southern Africa. It operates an expansive route network to more than 45 destinations, including St.Helena Island.
Qatar Airways is known and loved for operating one of the most modern fleets in the world. The airline has most recently acquired a 25% stake in Airlink. Moreover, it has also been named ‘World’s Best Airline’ on multiple occasions at the Skytrax World Airline Awards.
