Members of the Public and Commercial Services Union, which includes Border Force staff, previously waked out over the Christmas period and are now set to take part in what the PCS is calling the ‘largest civil service strike for years,’ Euronews reported.

International arrivals at all UK airports are expected to be impacted, along with border controls at Calais, Dunkirk and Coquelles in northern France.

Since Brexit, British nationals have had to face stricter border checks when travelling to continental Europe, where checks are performed at Dover on the English side of the channel by French staff.
