The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, based inside Universal Studios Orlando, Florida, will be opening a brand new roller coaster ride, Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, on 13 June 2019.
Hagrid’s motorbike is an important aspect of the Harry Potter saga, in part for its role in rescuing Harry from Death Eaters in Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows. The bike also originally belonged to Sirius Black, Harry’s godfather.
The Universal Studios theme park’s new ride is bound to include a lot of turbulence simulation, mimicking Hagrid’s haphazard ‘driving’. ‘For the first time ever, guests will fly with Hagrid on a thrilling roller coaster ride that plunges into the path of some of the wizarding world’s rarest magical creatures,’ says a Universal representative.
