A Hayya card is a Fan ID that allows ticket-holders entry into Qatar and will provide entry to stadiums in conjunction with a valid match ticket, access to free public transport on match days and will facilitate smart journey planning, via the Haaya App.
To apply for a Haaya card, visitors must hold a valid ticket for an official World Cup event. For a fee, ticket holders may use their approved Haaya card to bring in three friends or relatives who do not hold a ticket for one of the official World Cup events.
According to AlJazeera, international visitors applying for the Hayya card will need to wait about five days for their application to be approved while those within the country can receive it within three days. International visitors will also be required to provide accommodation details for their stay and information about their emergency contact.
Further information can be found here and on the Hayya FAQ portal.
