Zimbabwe has lifted the requirement for vaccinated people to take a PCR test upon entry after a post-cabinet briefing on 29 March 2022.
Previously, a PCR test was required for all visitors when the country opened its borders on 15 February.
This announcement comes after many other Southern African countries such as South Africa, Eswatini, Botswana and Namibia all lifted the mandatory PCR requirement in the last month.
Lesotho and Mozambique are other countries in the region that still require a negative PCR upon entry.
