With just nine days left until National Braai Day (24 September if it hasn’t yet filtered through to you) Jan Braai and the crew got the boerie going with an official launch braai at the 2oceansvibe media offices in De Waterkant this evening.
The braai was also the wrap of the KykNet TV series, ‘Jan Braai vir Erfenis’ – the bulk of which was shot during our little 40-day jaunt around South Africa back in March and April this year.
If you’re going to catch just one episode (17:30 on Friday’s and 12:30 Saturday), then next week’s is probably a good one to try. If nothing else you’ll get to see me (apparently) screeching in fright as a lion slinks menacingly up to our open top vehicle. The reality was, I can assure you, very different, but I’m told the edit portrays me in the wimpiest possible light. Should be good for a laugh.
