Wynberg Park, previously known as King Edward Park, is located in the southern suburb of Wynberg, Cape Town, South Africa.

Established by Wynberg Mayor James Bisset in the early 1890s, it offers various amenities such as a children’s playground, a duck pond, and multiple braai/barbecue areas.

This park, which opened in 1902, sits on land once covered by a large indigenous Silvertree forest before European settlement. It features the spring and source of the Krakeelwater River, adding to its natural allure.

The park’s southern border adjoins the Wynberg Military Base, offering views of the prominent 2 Military Hospital building.
