Addo Elephant National Park

The Addo Elephant National Park is famous for its natural beauty and its large elephant herds. It is the ideal destination to immerse yourself in a once-in-a-lifetime encounter with the African elephant.

Delight in the beauty of the flora and fauna as you walk through the diverse valleys, plains and forests of the bushveld. You can also enjoy the scenic picnic area which overlooks a waterhole.

Located among the rugged shores of the Eastern Cape is the Insta-famous Hole in the Wall. Trek what has been dubbed as the most notorious hike in Coffee Bay – the Hole in the Wall hike.

The hike, which is approximately three hours, takes you to the phenomenal rock formation that is out in the ocean and has a literal hole in the middle.

The unforgettable experience offers an abundance of natural beauty and the chance to relish in nature’s refreshing embrace.

Camdeboo National Park

Uniquely positioned in the heart of the Karoo, Camdeboo National Park virtually surrounds the quaint town of Graaff-Reinet in the Eastern Cape.

It boasts steep cliffs and dolerite pillars. The natural paradise offers breathtaking views. game drive opportunities, and even the chance to simply enjoy a bush braai.

Makana Botanical Gardens

The Makana Botanical Gardens lie adjacent to the Rhodes University campus in Makhanda. The natural attraction dates back to 1853 and was the second garden to be established in the Cape Colony at the time.

Upon visiting the gardens, you can expect to spot different species of birdlife including olive woodpeckers and Cape weavers. Moreover, you can admire an array of flora as you enjoy the garden’s lush greenery.
