Blissful beach time
Kenton-on-Sea is home to some of South Africa’s most beautiful beaches. They stretch for kilometers, with some of them offering rock pools and caves to explore.
If you’d like to experience some memorable beach bliss, a number of beaches await. These include the award-winning Shelly Bay, the unique Kenton Beach, as well as Middle Beach. Expect plenty of seaside fun and warm, grainy sand.

Water adventures
If a bit of water adventure tickles your fancy, Kenton-on-Sea is the destination for you. From snorkelling to fishing and even kite surfing, there’s a slice of water fun for you.
When at the destination, two tidal rivers are on your doorstep. As such, there are opportunities for river cruises and plenty of water sports. The Boesmans River is a popular destination for water enthusiasts. It is also ideal for enjoying scenic boat cruises.
Running on the eastern side of Kenton-on-Sea is the Kariega River, which cuts through two game reserves. The river is great for a number of activities including stand-up paddling, fishing and water skiing.

Kenton-on-Sea is also surrounded by beautiful Big 5 game reserves. You can book a game drive and enjoy lovely sightings of a number of wildlife species, including the zebra, buffalo, cheetah and giraffe. There are also some interesting bird species worth spotting. Notable game reserves to visit include Sibuya Game Reserve and Kariega Game Reserve.

When visiting Kenton, you can also enjoy a number of other worthwhile and memorable experiences. These include the opportunity to enjoy gorgeous views as you ride along the unspoilt beaches on horseback or gallop alongside Africa’s wildlife.
