A visit to the Temple offers the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in its tranquil ambience, as well as to encounter the various symbolic Buddhist statues and the meditation center which is a place of spiritual reflection.
Lake Fundudzi
Located in the Limpopo province, Lake Fundudzi is one of South Africa’s freshwater inland lake systems. The enchanted body of water is sacred to the Venda people and is found on the R523 between Thohoyandou and Louis Trichardt.
Although trips to the lake shore are rarely granted to visitors due to safety and traditional reasons, not all is lost. You can still catch the spectacular view of the lake at a viewpoint on the approach surrounded by mountains. The locals also hold many intriguing stories about the lake which are worth hearing.
