An American father-daughter skydiving duo found themselves in the right place at the right time on Monday, when they witnessed the total solar eclipse from mid-air.
The jaw-dropping moment occurred on 8 April, when a total solar eclipse swept across North America. A celestial event of this kind sees the moon pass between the Earth and the sun for a short window in time.
During this window, a father and daughter in The States happened to be soaring at 14,000ft in the air over Texas for a spellbinding skydive session, accompanied by experienced guides from the Dallas Skydive Center.
Jared Stoll shared the video:
After the incredible experience, the daughter – who had just completed her first skydive – said:
“That was the coolest thing I’ve ever done in my entire life.”
What a special ‘first time’ memory!
